Stretching on my yoga ball before bed! Nothing fancy just a few quick moves to open up my hips, I also like to do a few cat cows and childs pose depending on how low baby girl feels — I literally do it for 3-5mins, I have looked up some good hip pain pregnancy stretches and it makes the biggest difference with hip soreness 🙌🏻 (more than happy to make a separate vid on these stretches if that would be helpful just let me know)

Plus nose strips an nasal spray if you have any pregnancy stuffy nose — comment SHOP for deets

Gum inflammation is way more common in pregnancy than anyone warns you about thanks to hormone changes 🙃 which means bacteria can build up faster and gums may feel sore, swollen, or even bleed when you brush. Totally common—but also a sign we need to stay on top of oral care *a little extra* during pregnancy, because things can worsen quickly if they aren’t managed daily.

Keeping gums as clean and bacteria-free as possible is important for baby too. Research has shown links between poor oral health and pregnancy complications like preterm birth and preeclampsia, and inflammation or bacteria from the gums can enter the bloodstream and affect overall pregnancy health.

If you experience anything severe, or already have gum issues, talk to your dentist about whether an extra cleaning during pregnancy makes sense for you—and make sure you’re keeping up with routine checkups 🤍 Just a friendly reminder, because even as a dental hygienist, I’ve had phases where my gums were extra sore during pregnancy and wanted to share the info.

Gums sensitive during pregnancy?! It’s very common due to hormone levels! The best thing you can do is FLOSS and WATERFLOSS! This keeps bacteria in the gums low (the brush and or mouthwash won’t get into the areas floss can) so it’s crucial for sensitive gums! These are my faves as a dental hygienist
