Here is my full hair routine for long-lasting fresh hair. These are the exact products I use on wash day, styling day, and refresh days to keep my hair soft, shiny, and clean for 3 to 4 days at a time.

I start with a hair mask on my mid-lengths to ends, then double cleanse with Living Proof shampoo and follow with conditioner only on the bottom half of my hair. After towel-drying, I use a leave-in spray, the Diamond Glass shine spray on my ends, and Olaplex at the roots for volume.

I mostly air-dry to keep my hair healthy and finish with my T3 attachments for minimal heat styling. On night 2, I use dry shampoo before bed (a tip from my hair girl) to extend my wash another 2 to 3 days.

unexpected snow day on the eastern shore. we slept in, stayed in pajamas way too long, did a tiny bit of work, ran to target for a sad-breakfast upgrade, restocked my delivery-driver snack box, and let little c and louie live their best snowball lives. ended the day with a low blood sugar dip, frozen pizza for c, and grocery store sushi for me. simple, slow, and honestly exactly what we needed.

Get to Know Me Monday… and meet the newest member of our chaos.

We didn’t plan on adding a kitten to the mix in the middle of campaigns, school runs, and everyday life… but you know me by now. If there’s a plate spinning, I’m probably adding two more.

Everyone, this is Maxxi Bean.
She’s a tiny, all-black baby we’ve had for less than two weeks, and she came to us a little feral and a lot unsure. Now? She’s fully committed to snuggling, purring, playing, and inserting herself into every moment.

Little C had been wishing for a black kitten he could name Maxwell… so when this little girl showed up, he said, “this is him,” and honestly, we’re rolling with it.
So yes, Maxxi Bean is a she… but in this house she happily answers to Max, Maxxi, Bean, and “my baby.”

She’s settling so beautifully, already attached to Little C, and we’ve been learning all the new-kitten things together. And today’s little milestone — playing, exploring, and opening up — meant everything.

Just a reminder that life doesn’t always go the way you planned… sometimes it goes better.

Welcome home, Maxxi Bean.

Holiday entertaining hack you will use forever

Every season, every holiday, every dinner party… I keep the base of my table exactly the same.
White dishes, gold chargers, gold flatware. That’s it.
Then I switch out two things:
1. a themed paper napkin
2. a bag of seasonal vase fillers for the center of the table

It makes the whole table look pulled together without buying entirely new décor every time.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s… I just swap the napkin and the filler. Done.

This is my go-to because it saves time, money, and the mental load of hosting. Plus it always looks intentional in photos.
