• lodge trousers XXs short. These are the best, so comfy and drapey and can go from work to weekend to travel (I also bought new colors and got them hemmed bc short is almost never available : / and I truly wear these so much!)

I also linked their straight sweatpants that have a totally different material, but the cut and fit is similar, and those are fully stocked in short length and work very well on Petites. The sweatpants are a cotton fleece fabric with soft cozy lining, and thus are more casual than the lodge pants (which can be worn to work).

Reposting since My most walking friendly, comfortable low ankle booties are back and on sale

• Gentle souls 5.5 boots

Size up if between sizes. I’m usually a 5 to 5.5 and went up to 5.5 since the front toe felt a little narrow.

These have a cushioned insole, flexible rubber outsole, and a slim stretchy ankle shaft that works perfectly tucked under jeans and pants or with tights.

Note: this boot comes out in new iterations each year with a different style name, but I’ve found them to all be extremely similar. My 3 pairs all have a different style name (ie the Emily, Ella boot) but looks and feel nearly the same.

Petite friendly height boots! These are regular calf, not narrow fyi

• Steve Madden boots 5.5 runs a little narrow in the foot with a regular (not narrow) calf fit.

The size 5.5 boot measures 14" tall at the shaft and 14.25" around the calf. NOTE that height and width will increase as shoe size goes up. I'm fine with the wider calf fit on me since I plan to wear them mostly with jeans and pants tucked in.

For foot size, I’m usually between 5 to 5.5 in other brands and needed the 5.5 in these. Nice quality suede and walking-friendly low stacked heel.
