Allergies are KICKING OUR BUTTS! Here’s a simple Chicken Noodle Soup recipe that’s like a hug in a bowl!! 🤍 Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Ingredients: 1. (1) whole chicken, giblets removed 2. 1.5 cups extra wide egg noodles 3. 2 large carrots, peeled 4. 1 medium yellow onion 5. 4 stalks of celery 6. 48 oz chicken broth 7. 4 sprigs fresh thyme, stems removed 8. 4 sprigs fresh oregano, stems removed 9. Salt & pepper to taste Directions: 1. Add chicken broth & to whole chicken to large stock pot + and little water if needed to fully cover the chicken with liquid 2. Bring to a boil and reduce to medium heat for 2 hours until chicken is fully cooked and falling off the bone 3. Remove chicken from pot and place in a bowl to cool 4. While chicken cools, chop veggies and herbs and add to chicken broth, bring to a boil, add salt & pepper to taste 5. Once chicken is cooled, remove all bones, skin, and any excess cartilage and discard, put both white and dark meat back into the pot with veggies and broth 6.
