Crispy homemade potato chips made easy with a mandoline slicer 🥔✨

Ingredients:

* 2–3 large russet potatoes
* Cold water (for soaking)
* Vegetable oil (for frying)
* Salt (to taste)
* Optional: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, ranch seasoning

👩‍🍳 Directions:

1. Slice the potatoes
Use your mandoline slicer to cut the potatoes into very thin, even slices.
2. Soak the slices
Place slices in a bowl of cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch (this makes them crispier).
3. Dry completely
Drain and pat the potato slices dry with paper towels this step is key for crispy chips.
4. Heat the oil
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to about 350°F.
5. Fry in batches
Carefully add potato slices in small batches. Fry for 2–4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
6. Drain & season
Remove chips and place on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and any seasoning while still hot.
7. Cool & enjoy
Let them cool slightly they’ll crisp up even more!
