Cozy glam holiday party outfit with Amazon skirt find

• the drop sequin skirt. Pictured is xxs but I ended up sizing up this year to XS when I got a second color, and the XS is more comfortable on my 25.5” waist and hips. I wear with shaper shorts

Xxs skirt is 24” around the waist

Pull on stretch waist. Stretch sequin material. Not itchy or uncomfortable due to a full lining . Hits nearly maxi length on me.

This is xxs (2xs) in the super snug superpuff style.

length: they have short, Mid, and Long. I am 5 feet tall and mid hits me as shown

• fit: they have original or SuperSnug. SuperSnug in XXS (2XS) is fitted on me and slim through the arms.

If you like chunky layers and looser silhouettes underneath, then their more popular option is the original super puff which is less fitted in the torso and sleeves.

Trying on this cream boiled wool textured (almost like a boucle) blazer coat in a 00.

It’s called a blazer but has the structure and the thicker weight of a fall jacket, and I like how it looked with jeans and slim pants!

Regular size 00 fits a little big on me and a tad long at the sleeves.

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24 P - J. Crew jeans run about a half size big for me but I don't mind a little extra room at the waist these days. These are one of J. Crew's best cut petite jeans!

these run long but if you want to intentionally shrink the length, they do shrink a bit if you machine dry on high

• 90’s straight jean in Rondell wash 24 petite. I love the 90s straight cut (same cut as the gray jeans from my capsule wardrobe) but I’d personally cut the hems shorter, like I did with the gray.

This cut is full length but I feel it looks better for me as an ankle length jean. Showed in the video a comparison of full length vs cropped.

The cut is a tapered straight with just a little slouch room on me at the hips and thighs through the leg. More relaxed feel. This wash is a vintage style denim with less stretch.

• Long Sleeve tie neck top in winter white xxs, this one is semi sheer so def wear a skin toned bra. Blousy, lightweight, easy to tuck.

Trying on xxs in the Aritzia Constant coat in the thicker wool cashmere material. Same coat style also comes in knee length (linked).

Runs big; size down if you can

The Constant coat is one of their core styles that comes back each year in different materials and colors. I’ve found that depending on how thick the material is, the coat will fit a little bit differently!

The wool cashmere is a thicker, plush feeling material that is heavier weight than their regular wool material. In this material the coat feels a little big and long on a petite frame, but is extra warm if you like an oversized maxi coat look. The merino or lighter weight wool Constant coats feel less thick and slimmer fit.

• Levi’s Ribcage jeans 24 x 27 in “in the middle” wash - some of my favorite Levi’s, I own in several washes. High rise and great to pair with flats, heels, or sneakers!

• Black mockneck Xs , soft modal blend. I sized up.

Tried this on last week and keep thinking about it! Comes in other beautiful neutral colors like charcoal gray and camel.

• size xxs, Double faced elegant taupe wool blend wrap style coat with a long midi length. I’m 5 feet tall for reference.

Collar is a more oversized wider statement collar with drape to it.

Since it’s unlined and double faced, there is beautiful movement. Not a cold day winter weight coat.
