I have finally found the best solution for toy storage! I’m not even joking, since I have had kids (so for the last couple of years) I have been on an endless search to try to find pretty yet practical toy storage.

I felt like there was no good solution I could find!

But I finally found the perfect combination for both toys that need to be displayed and toys that need to be stowed away.

I bought two of these window seats and left the top as a tabletop rather than a cushion. That way I could display some toys on top and some in bins.

These bins are extra large which means they actually fit their toys. In the past, we’ve always gotten baskets that were too small, which just led to toys spilling over and essentially increasing clutter.

The best part is, you can always add the cushions back on for extra seating when you’re entertaining people. Or when they grow older and they’d rather use it as a reading nook.

When I made our playroom, I knew I wanted it to encourage learning and play.

So much intention went behind every piece that I found for their playroom.

We used Lalo in our playroom because they have a vast selection of playroom items that promote learning. They have playkits that are developmentally curated for specific stages of development as well as individual toys. They also make playroom furniture like our table and chairs and our play tunnel. Plus they offer storage solutions like these quilted baskets!

When I was little me and my siblings used to always set up obstacle courses around our house! It was so much fun!

So, of course, I wanted to do the same for my babies! We set up this epic obstacle course in their playroom, and it was so much fun! I found this soft play equipment from @ecr4kids and it was perfect! I love all of the different shapes for them to practice climbing on and I also love that they have Velcro on the bottom so that you can Velcro the pieces together!

The giant parachute at field day was always my favorite activity but you only got to do it once a year! I accidentally stumbled across the realization that I could make our own giant parachute out of our play silks from @sarahssilsk and I instantly knew I had to do it for my kids!

This is definitely our favorite creation we’ve come up with using our play silks! It’s so easy too! All you have to do is tie the corners plus a center piece together!

The more updates that I make to our playroom, the more and more I fell in love with it! My vision for our playroom was for it to be a place for my kids to learn and play! I knew I wanted to warm up their playroom and this jute rug from Jonathan Y warmed it up perfectly!

I also got this really cute dinosaur lamp from Jonathan Y and it is such a hit in our house! I love how playful it is!

Safe to say…I could spend all day in here!
