Out and about at the ranch today. I usually wear long sleeves and loose fitting items when I’m outside to provide sun coverage and breathability. I got this shirt last season, but pulled it out to wear this summer, it’s the perfect length and hits right at the waistline. Showing you guys another way to wear the horseshoe jeans, loving it with the denim on denim look.

I got these bandanas made for the kids with Bizzy’s ‘Box Ranch’ handwriting, they turned out so cute!

Hats are a staple item in my day to day wardrobe, especially while I’m at the ranch. I love this one because of the blue bonnets and the nod to the Texas state flower. I had my initials embroidered on mine - it makes for a thoughtful custom gift for loved ones.

I’m wearing a size large and I wear a 58 usually.

These are my go-to boots at the ranch when I “dress-up.” They are a little bit more stiff, so I wouldn’t wear to work outside, but save for special occasions. They are so gorgeous and amazing quality - founded here in Texas by a military vet that lives near our ranch, but the boots are made in Spain. Part of the proceeds from each purchase are donated to military charities💙

I’m wearing a size 10 and they are true to size.

This is my my favorite jacket to wear year long and IT’S ON SALE!!! The details and embroidery are incredible and such great quality. The body is lined with fur but it stands away from you enough so it’s not too hot for the summer months, perfect to wear indoors.

Mine has dark blue stitching but the black is on sale and it’s a steal!

Horseshoe denim are all the craze right now. I’m not one to buy into trends usually, but I think these have strong staying power over the next few years.

They’re such a fun spin on your every day denim. You can pair it with a plain white tee and boots like I did here and it instantly makes your look more fashion forward, even for the most causal occasions. MY JACKET IS ON SUPER SALE
I don’t talk much about cooking…that because I actually have never cooked 🥴😱 I can set a beautiful table but making the food…not been the job I’m nominated to do at home.
SO today is a big day. We are living remotely so I have to learn to cook and last night I read my new cookbook and made a shopping list and went to town.

I set the breakfast bar with some new items today to make our Tuesday a little more exciting. I snagged these napkins about a month ago (also bought the matching tablecloth) and am using them as small placemats. Our bar has to fit four children so smaller placemats work better than full sized.
These plates are last season Dondolo and are no longer sold so I found you some similar options. I love the color blue so I am a sucker for styles like this.
This is the new silverware that I unboxed for you. It is hand wash only so I use it for myself or for small meals. It is heavy and gorgeous and easy for children to grip on to. It also makes such a statement on the table.
These are the rattan glasses we always use and they are easy for everyone to grip and they also collect sweat- so save your tabletops! I use the pitcher too which helps everyone drink way more water.
Lastly, each place got a rechargeable LED lamp. It makes each place setting look more special and the light really makes the food shine. I use these indoor and outdoor and even for extra light in dim spots of my kitchen. I got the Amazon ones but there is a designer version I tagged for you as well.

Ignore my aweful outfit 😜 I was optimizing for sun coverage this afternoon.
I just installed this kid bike seat I ordered for Boots and took it for a spin. He is 40lbs+ so it’s certainly a little more challenging (I don’t plan to take any hills like his) but it does mean he gets to be included in family bike rides.
It was annoying to have to build this but there are only about 6 screws so it’s not aweful. He liked it and seemed comfortable ❤️ and now he can come along!

I snag Texas shirts for the boys to wear during the summer and I’ve found so many cute ones! I like it because they look adorable in summer pics like this one - and I know that whatever they put on, they will look decent.

I wanted to give you another look at our breakfast table this morning. I made various types of toasts to suit different tastes.
You can see the rechargeable lamps that I like to use - there is one at each place setting.
I’ve been reading cookbooks and looking at food styling and as with all tabletops you want to add some height so you can see I stacked a wooden stool on the cutting board to display the food.

I got this dress for summer and am a huge fan of the cut and fabric. The high neck is helpful to keep my skin out of the sun. The pouf sleeves are so flattering and the pockets are helpful so I don’t technically have to carry a purse and my phone has a place to go when I run around the house.
The drawstring waist is flattering but not too snug and the length is attractive and modest enough.
Big fan of this look.

My hat is from a local custom hat shop and my boots are special order Lucchese. ❤️

Headed to town for a fundraiser for the firefighters today. It’s a BBQ competition and there is live music and an auction.
It’s a warmer day here today so I’m wearing a dress that gives me sun coverage on my chest shoulders and arms but is loose enough to be cool.
Did you know this strap on my hat is called a “stampede strap?” I didn’t at first but on windy days or when riding horses you really need it. You can add these to any hat by adding grommets to the side.

MY LOOK IS ON MAJOR SALE
Date night! Baxter and I are headed to an early date night in the town over. There is a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try - the images on the website look mouthwatering and it has a great reputation. Everything is casual in this part of the state so this outfit works well.
I added the squash blossom necklace you guys have seen before, which really makes the look.
My shoes are from ODP which was founded by a Texas woman living and producing in Italy. I don’t have many Italian shoes, especially casual ones, but you can tell a difference. These are produced when you order and they are so soft and so comfortable and will clearly last for (decades?) They are something slightly different which makes my entire look more special.

I got this hand embroidered Mexican dress for Bizzy and Birdie and I was so glad to see Bizz pick it tonight. I have one to match the girls and it doubles as PJs and a house dress. It was a Christmas item but works well year-round.

If I could get Birdie in this outfit every single day, I would. These boots are just so adorable and this is our third pair for her. We buy them and then just pass them down to her younger sister. I got this skirt and st barths and it’s adorable and I found some similar ones at a great price point for you. These little shirts that she’s wearing I have monogrammed with her initials and she has five of them and we just wear and wash them constantly until they’re worn out and then we replace them, several of the colors are on sale right now.

Tonight was Bizzys “date night” with me, which means that I spend time with her alone and give her my full attention. She wanted to take a bubble bath in my tub, use a bath bomb and then have me trim her hair. We did all of that and I told her I’d match PJs so she picked these Mexican embroidery ones from Lake x Mi Golindrina that we all have. I bought them for the girls for Christmas but they are absolutely a year-round item and the hand embroidery is so special.

I finally bought in to the “horseshoe denim” trend and I think they are so fun! They are certainly comfy and they are just something different- which is nice.
I first saw these on @EmilyAnnGemma and she looked adorable! She let me try hers on (😂) so I could see what size. These run SO BIG. On a skinny day I wear a size 26 but these are a size 24 and I probably could have taken a 23. Your usual is irrelevant with these jeans.

My summer accessories are working with all of my looks right now. I have been added these and tortoise sunglasses to everything in my wardrobe and they are so elevating. When in doubt just go head to toe white and add these.
The shoes will stretch a little so size down a half size if possible.

My little cutie artist is loving ranch life. The girls immediately ran to find the paint when we arrived and they have been on the porch painting all day.
I got these dresses for the girls two years ago and meant to give them for Christmas gifts and forgot 🙈 and just pulled them out. Luckily they are still available online. These are so soft and beautiful- I do plan to keep them stocked.

I LOVE cheese boards. In part, because I like to eat every few hours and the time between lunch and dinner is to long. Also, because cheese boards feel celebratory.
My good friend, Betsey, gave me these charcuterie board cards and I’m loving them. Each card is a different board and the ingredients and tips are on the back.
Another creator, @aintooproudtomeg made these and they are perfectly executed. I’ll be giving these as a gift as well and using them to guide my entertaining.

Clothes are laid out and ready for tomorrow. We are headed to our ranch and I just can’t wait to get there to spend quality time with my kids.
